Hydrofluoric acid has the chemical formula that is HF. Hydro fluoric acid is referred as the mixture of Hydrogen fluoride in water. In many reactions, it has been seen which Hydrogen Fluoride is extremely corrosive in nature. Hydrofluoric acid is weak acid. Many chemists say that Hydrogen fluoride in its aqueous form produced Hydro fluoric acid. Hydro fluoric acid is always composed of diatomic Hydrogen & Fluorine atoms. Hydrofluoric acid is reactive towards glass compounds that are why it is kept in containers or bottles made of Polyethylene and Teflon.
