double displacement

Let us learn about double displacement

A neutralization reaction is a type of double displacement reaction. During period of neutralization reaction an equal amount of acid reacts with an equal amount of base. A solution of salt ionic compound & H2O is always created as a product.

A double displacement is also called metathesis is a reaction in which two reactants trade fragments: AB + CD = AC + BD Most commonly, the fragments are ions, e. g. AgNO3 (aq) + NaCl (aq) = AgCl(s) + NaNO3 (aq)

In our next blog we shall learn about breathing respiration I hope the above explanation was useful.Keep reading and leave your comments.
