chemistry problems

Let us learn to solve chemistry problems

The best way to learn chemistry subject is to practice working problems, but it helps to see how each type of problem is solved correctly. Always follow examples of worked chemistry problems. These chemistry problems are arranged alphabetically according to subject matter. Multiple worked examples are given for different types of problems.

Students who are using online tutoring web site materials for self-study it always helps if you include how you would find answer the question & why. That lets me respond to what you are thinking of, lets us focus our reply on where you are having trouble. Further, it gives us a feel for the level at which you are addressing the question -- which may vary depending on your background & course level. The level of discourse -- & your learning of the chemistry subject matter -- is enhanced by trying to focus on reasons, not simply solutions.

The number of molecules in a taster of KOH is 5 x 1023, how many moles is that taster consisting of?

6.022 x 1023 molecules are in one mole of any substance.

So,

5 x 1023 molecules would be in 5 x 1023/6.022 x 1023 moles

= 0.83 moles.

Free science homework help

Hi Friends!!!

How many of you like science subject?

There are many website which provides you Free science homework help, online science homework help so on.

Complete K-12 curriculum will be taught by science tutors. Student can access from anywhere & at any time all they need is a web browser. Special parent login ids allow progress tracking & report card generation. Automatically graded quizzes & exams will be conducted.

Computer & Internet use is growing. Student between the ages of 13 & 17 spend more time using digital media than watching television.

Technology is important to learners' education. Academic performance improves & Motivation to learn.

Home use lead. 84% of students use technology regularly for schoolwork.

In-school use is not included. In-school use of computers is highly regulated. Tutors often lack the expertise & knowledge. Science tutors lesson modules are created exclusively for the online learning program.

Compensation of Online Learning

Changing the very purpose & aim of learning

Aids struggling readers & learners

Engages students in their learning

Leverages instructional time for students needs

types of ecosystem

Let us learn about Ecosystem & types of ecosystem

Ecosystem is a place or an area within the natural environment in which biotic factors and abiotic factors within the same habitat functions together to create a stable system. An ecosystem can be a permanent system or it can be a temporary system.

There are mainly 2 types of Ecosystems. They are as follows

  • Natural Ecosystem
  • Artificial Ecosystem

An ecosystem includes biological community which occurs in some locale, & the physical & chemical factors which make up its non-living or abiotic environment.

least count of vernier calliper

Let us learn about least count of vernier Calliper

The meter scale which is used to measure the length of the nearest millimeter only. Scientists & Engineers need to measure much smaller distances accurately. For such a special kind of scale called Vernier scale is used.

Vernier Calliper

The Vernier scale includes a main scale graduated in centimeters & millimeters. On the Vernier scale 0.9 cm is divided into 10 equal parts. The Vernier scale (caliper) depends on the least count of the vernier or the smallest reading which we can get with the instrument can be calculated as under:

Least count = 1 main scale (MS) division - 1 vernier scale (VS) division.

= 1 mm - 0.09 mm

= 0.1 mm

= 0.01 cm

The least count of the vernier

= Value of the smallest division on MS

Total number of division on VS

= 1mm/ 10 = 0.1cm/10

= 0.01 cm

electronegative

Let us learn about electronegative

Electronegative is the tendency of an atom to attract electrons towards itself in a molecule of a compound. The value of electronegative of an element describes the ability of its atom to compete for electrons with the other atom to which it is bonded. Electronegative is however not the property of an isolated atom.

Electronegative increases from left to right in each period ending at group VII.

In the 3rd period, electronegative increases from sodium to chlorine that is chlorine can accept electrons very easily in that period followed backwards by sulphur, phosphorus, silicon, aluminum, magnesium and sodium. All the atoms of the above mentioned elements have three shells only chlorine has the smallest atomic radii. Therefore chlorine experiences more positive charge from the nucleus than all other atoms in that period. therefore if one electron is available, chlorine can attract it most easily.

battery hydrometer

Let us learn about battery hydrometer.

Battery hydrometer is used for measuring the relative density of a liquid, directly and hence to test the purity of a liquid.

Battery hydrometer works on the principle of flotation. The working of battery hydrometer can be understood by the simple experiments. if it is acid battery then it is called acid battery hydrometer

A hydrometer used to check the concentration of sulphuric acid with a battery is called battery hydrometer

components of ecosystem

Let us learn about components of ecosystem.

Ecosystem consist of living things in a (acknowledged region) (particular area) given area, non-living chemical and physical (components) factors of their environment, linked together through nutrient cycle and energy

An ecosystem has two basic components:

A. Abiotic (non living)

B. Biotic (living organism)

The components of the ecosystem are seen to function as a unit with following aspects:

In our next blog we shall learn about translatory I hope the above explanation was useful.Keep reading and leave your comments.
